These Replica Pistols and Rifles can open up new doors for those who long for the Classics!

I get this question from time to
time. Sometimes, I even get dirty looks or raised eyebrows
from gun enthusiasts, some of whom can't imagine being interested in a
replica gun. While I'm in the replica gun business, I DO own
real guns, but I don't deal with them on my sites. Besides
the fact that I don't have a Federal Firearms License, dealing in real
guns would be a whole business in itself, and there would also be
liability issues along with it. Since I'm diversified in
E-Commerce, I'm too
busy with that to deal solely with a guns-only
business. I should probably mention that it's not really me,
but that there are three of us in this business, all members of the
same family.
Replica Guns are safe and legal
At least in the United States. Or at least in most parts of the country. To an extent, they are also legal in many other nations, although some have different restrictions. In most cases, unless something stupid is attempted, no harm will come to the owner of a replica gun. The only way a replica firearm would be dangerous is if it were used in a very unintelligent way, such as pointing one at a police officer, attempting an armed robbery, or other attempted violent crime. Of course if one were to be caught doing such a thing, they would likely be charged with the crime, just as if they'd used a real weapon. About the only way youi could hurt someone with a replica gun would be to throw it at them, or use it as a blunt instrument. Come to think of it, almost anything could be used as a blunt object, so we'll give replica guns a pass on that one.
Price is an Issue
A lot of us would like to own an original 1848 Colt Dragoon Revolver. However, it's likely that most of us don't have three-quarters of a million dollars lying around for such a frivolous purchase. An authentic replica of that gun solves that problem. Being the same size, weight, look and feel as the originals, right down to the wood and metal, and the mechanical action of the parts, a replica is a good alternative. They also make great conversation pieces. Bring one out at a gathering (in a non-threatening manner, and in an appropriate setting, of course) and observe the level of interest an authentic replica encourages. Everyone likes a chance to experience something a little unusual. You could even start a collection, and add to it, where as you could not when dealing with very expensive or much harder to acquire originals.

Replica Guns have Historical value
Guns are a major part of our history. Not just in America, but all over the world. Historical reenactors, living history groups and organizations, film and theater people and others have already experienced the benefits of historically accurate replica firearms. Of course, you're not required to be a member of one of these groups, if you are a history buff, instructor, or someone else who appreciates the more tangible little details of history. Holding a solid replica gun in your hands is more fun than just reading about it in a history book. We've even sold them to teachers and instructors who use them to get their students more interested in their history. That's probably a good thing, since so few people today seem to know or care about their own national history, which is in danger of being lost. We all know how dangerous things can get when we forget the lessons of history.
Heritage
We offer replica guns from many different periods of history, and different parts of the world. You can get a gun by itself, or mounted in a decorative frame, box, or other decorative setting. They can even be used in some decor themes as desk or wall-mounted interior decor. The first thing that comes to mind might be an Old West motif, although police and armed forces veterans also enjoy these guns in decorative settings and offices, even in restaurants. They are also nice to receive as gifts. We've sold many that were given as gifts, and our customers usually tell us that the recipients are very pleased to get such an unusual gift or award.
Replica Guns can be Fun
Without going into detail about the reasons why some people just like firearms, or at least have an interest in them, let's face it. Unless you are one of those people who truly hates guns, a lot of people genuinely like them, and they are just nice to have. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that we also have blank-firing replicas. This takes the non-firing replica gun one step further. And we're not talking about bang-bang cap guns here. I'm talking about historically-authentic replicas that can work and chamber a round, and be fired just like a real one. You get the loud boom (not the cap gun bang), smoke and recoil of a real gun, along with the tinkling of ejected cartridges without the deadly projectile. If you didn't know that the gun could not fire a real bullet, you'd swear you were firing the real thing. We even have some nicer, heavy duty licensed blank guns, bearing the names of Colt, Walther, Ruger and others, and the quali ty of these blank firearms is no less solid than their real weapon counterparts. Of course, replica guns are only for responsible adults, and definitely not for kids.
